Mansfield Police Log: Drug Possession, Break-ins, and More

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log. Where arrests and charges are mentioned, they do not imply conviction.

July 4
12:49 a.m. - After making a motor vehicle stop on East Street, police arrested and charged Geovanny Arias, 33, of Stoughton with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

4:28 a.m. - Pulling over a car at the intersection of Oakland Street and Charles Street, police arrested Shane Dossantos, 22, of Brockton with possession of a Class D drug. The operator of the vehicle was also cited for an equipment violation.

6:27 a.m. - A call was made to Mansfield police reporting a wallet and various credit cards on the ground on Central Street. When police arrived in the neighborhood, they discovered that multiple vehicles were broken into.

10:42 a.m. - Finding a suspicious person at Memorial Park, police arrested and charged Christopher Melin, 21, of Mansfield with possession of a Class E drug.

9:21 p.m. - Timothy Servant, 27, of North Attleboro was arrested on Forbes Boulevard and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol.


July 6
12:10 a.m. - A break-in was reported on West Street. The party claims that jewelry and laptops were taken from the house sometime between 5 p.m. and midnight.
