Mansfield Police Logs through July 23: 16 taken into custody at Comcast Center last week

The following information is from the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests and charges are mentioned, they do not imply conviction.

July 19

8:29 a.m. Breaking and Entering (Dwelling/Commercial) Party reports both sheds were broken into over night, dirt bike missing. One Yamaha 125 dirt bike taken as well as a few snow boards. Snowboards recovered in the woods. Owner of bike will contact mpd with serial numbers of the bike.

9:18 p.m. Caller reports a peddler is sitting in her driveway. Officer spoke with peddler, who said he would cease for the evening. Homeowner advised.

July 21

6:40 a.m. Cooper Road. Person reports two male parties throwing rocks at a street sign. Officer reports no property damage. Tried to contact parents, reports no answer and unable to leave message.

7:35 p.m. Larceny (felony). Charles Street. Person reports a stolen ring. Officer reports nine pieces of jewelry are missing and person reports a sub contractor for Comcast was left unattended for about 20 minutes earlier today.

July 22

12:43 p.m. Breaking and Entering (Dwelling/Commercial) Person walks into the lobby to report his neighbor possibly witnessed a B&E into his residence. Reports his neighbor saw a male party in a black pick-up walk around his home and go into the garage. Officer reports there is nothing missing from garage and the neighbor has no other information about the suspect or truck.

July 23

7:39 a.m. Breaking and Entering (Motor Vehicle) Person reports chainsaw was taken out of the back of his truck on West Street. Party did not want to file a report. 

Comcast Center Concerts

Last week, the Comcast Center hosted an Eagles concert on July 18 and a Bob Dylan concert on July 20.

During Thursday’s Eagles concert, 11 people were taken into custody. Three were arrested and eight were placed under protective custody.

At the Bob Dylan concert, there were four arrests and one person taken into protective custody, for a total of five people.

Overall, there were 16 people taken into custody at the Comcast Center last week.

The following were taken into custody during the eagles concert:

Arrests:

  • David Mailing, 22, of Medway was arrested and charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct.

  • David DeCourcy, 26, of Rockland was arrested and charged with larceny under $250, breaking an entering vehicle/boat, and nighttime felony conspiracy.

  • A 16-year-old was arrested and charged with larceny under $250, entering a dwelling/boat, and nighttime felony conspiracy.

  • Protective Custodies:

    • A 26-year-old man from Rockland was placed under protective custody.

    • A 48-year-old woman from Worcester was placed under protective custody and later charged with disorderly conduct.

    • A 19-year-old woman from Taunton was placed under protective custody and later charged with Breaking and Entering a vehicle/boat nighttime felony, larceny under $250, and conspiracy.

  • A 35-year-old woman from Fall River was placed under protective custody.

  • A 51-year-old man from Norton was placed under Protective Custody.

  • A 22-year-old woman from Foxborough was placed under protective custody.

  • A 19-year-old man from Boston was placed under protective custody.

  • A 46-year-old man from North Dartmouth was placed under protective custody.

  • The following were taken into custody during the Bob Dylan concert:

    Arrests:

    • John B. Fox, 20, of West Roxbury was arrested and charged with person under 21 possession of liquor.

    • Catherine Sheridan, 27, of Boston was arrested and charged with possession of a Class C substance.

    • Jake Jaeger, 19, of Airmont, N.Y. was arrested and charged with person under 21 possession of liquor and forgery/misuse of an RMV document.

  • Brian P. Brady, 18, of Easton was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

  • Protective Custody:

    • Keith T. Bellevue, 33, of Brockton was placed under protective custody.
