The three marathoners will run to help raise money for cancer research.
Three Mansfield residents will run for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation Boston Marathon team to help raise money to provide financial assistance for patients and their families, as well as raising money for pediatric brain cancer research.
Members of the team include, David Roche, a first-time runner, Stephen Parker, a first time runner, and returning team member Rich DeSilva.
By participating on behalf of “Team JAF”, runners are raising money to aid the Foundation, which was established by former New England Patriots offensive guard and cancer survivor Joe Andruzzi and his wife, Jen.

Like the Andruzzi family, and many of the other runners, members of the team have seen the negative effects of cancer as he recently battled melanoma, and aims to support the great cause by raising $5,000-10,000 each.
Cheer on Team JAF during the Foundation’s Boston Marathon watch party at Forum on April 15. Tickets are $25, and can be purchased online and at the door. Twenty-five percent of ticket sales will benefit the Foundation.
