MHS Class of 2005 Remebers a Fallen Friend

The class of 2005 came together on Friday to remember their classmate Corey Shea.

The class of 2005 came together on Friday to raise money for the that was put up on the same day. The Mansfield building was filled with classmates reminiscing about their friends and times at MHS.

The Legendary B.S.E. provided musical entertainment as classmates enjoyed each other's company and watched the Bruins. The B.S.E. stopped playing every so often to check in with the crowd on the score. Denise Anderson, Shea's mother, also came to share in the memories of her son.

"Corey would be so honored that his classmates came to help keep his memory alive," she said. "I so grateful."

The flagpole has been a topic in Mansfield since late 2010. Organizations have helped donate the funds to pay for the replacement and landscaping around the memorial.

At the end of the night, the event raised over $1,000 towards helping the town put up the memorial.
