What is the MET Musical Awards?
Through the generous support of BROADWAY IN BOSTON, the METG announces a new education project to reach those students and teachers who enjoy the experience of singing and dancing their way through a full scale musical theater production.
This new program will offer both middle and high school members a season-long opportunity to bring experienced adjudicators into their theaters where they will receive professional feedback on their hard work creating musical theater productions. The participating students and teachers will benefit from the educational expertise, vital to improving their program. A MET MUSICAL AWARDS ceremony in June 2013 will then recognize student excellence across several performance, design, and production categories.

Theater teachers and directors Jessica Strunin and Patrick McCrossan are very excited about these honors and they thank Qualters Middle School’s staff, administration, students and parents for their continued support in QMS Drama and in keeping the arts alive in Mansfield!
