The 6-8 week process will begin on March 25 in West Mansfield.

From the Town of Mansfield's website:

The Town of Mansfield, Water Division begins its annual system flushing program Monday, March 25, 2013 in West Mansfield. Flushing will take place weeknights between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. (weather permitting) and is expected to take 6-8 weeks for complete.  Motorists are asked to watch for workers in or near the roadway and please drive with caution.

Customers may or may not experience discolored water as a result of this activity. Should this occur, run faucets, tub, spigots, etc. until water color clears. To protect laundry, check water color in clothes washers before adding fabrics.
