What You Need to Know About This Weekend's Dave Matthews Band Concerts at the Comcast Center

The rock group will play two shows this weekend at the Comcast Center.

Long intros and 45 minute jam sessions will be the norm this weekend as the Dave Matthews Band gets set to play two shows at the Comcast Center. Whether you are going to the show or are looking to simply avoid the traffic, Mansfield Patch has what you need to know about this weekend's shows.

 

1. Parking

All 16 lots will be open for this event starting at 3:30 p.m. All ticket-holders will be allowed access to the parking lots free of charge. For those interested in VIP parking, it is available for $40 but must be purchased ahead of time. Those with VIP parking are asked to arrive before the start of the show.

For those looking for a quicker exit, there are two privately owned lots across the street and next to the Comcast Center. Both lots charge $30 for parking.

Police do provide safe crossing for those parked across the street and the lot next door does have a direct and safe path into the venue. 

 

2. Showtime!

The doors to the venue will open at 6:00pm with the show expected to start at 7 p.m.

 

3. Dos and Don'ts

  • There is no smoking allowed in the reserved seating section of the Comcast Center.
  • You may take photos with your camera but flash photography, video or cameras with removable lens are not allowed.
  • You can bring in one unopened bottle of water and food as long as it fits into a one gallon soft cooler.
  • Chairs are not allowed in the general admission lawn area.

 

4. Watch Out For Traffic

Due to the time and day of the event, those traveling around areas of Route 140 and Route 495 near the venue should expect traffic delays all weekend.

 

5. Tickets Are Still Available

If you want to go but you haven't purchased your ticket yet, a limited amount are still available though Live Nation. If you choose to pick them up at the show, the will call office is located at the box office.
