The Polar Express Train Ride

All aboard! For the first time in Hyannis and Buzzards Bay, Southern New England area families can experience the magic of a journey to the “North Pole” on the official Warner Brothers licensed Polar Express Train Ride.  The Polar Express train ride is based on the classic holiday book and movie that features the heart-warming story of a young boy whose Christmas Eve journey aboard a mysterious train reignites his belief in Santa Claus. With music from the motion picture playing in the background, the adventure begins with the train conductor stamping each passenger’s golden ticket while the Chefs serve hot chocolate and cookies. En route, passengers enjoy a reading of Chris Van Allsburg’s The Polar Express and meet characters from the movie as they pass by on the train. Upon arrival at the “North Pole,” Santa greets the children and presents each with the first gift of Christmas, their own silver sleigh bell which according to legend, they can hear jingling only if they believe in in the magic of Christmas, before they enjoy a return trip to the station complete with a Christmas carol sing-along led by Santa’s elves. This holiday adventure is sure to be an annual favorite for believers young and old!
