Panera Bread Plainville Announces "Kids Night Out Summer Vacation Celebration" Featuring The Magic Of Bonaparte and "Spin To Win" Panera Prize Wheel

In keeping with its “Live Consciously, Eat Deliciously” message, Panera Bread Plainville located at 103 Taunton Street announces that it will once again sponsor the annual “Kids Night Out Summer Vacation Celebration” on Wednesday, June 25 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. to benefit one of its charity partners, the Ryan’s Hope Foundation also based in Plainville.  In addition to 10-percent of Panera Plainville’s sales that evening benefiting the Foundation, the Plainville Athletic League supported event will also feature the spellbinding magic of Bonaparté – Boston’s hottest magician back by popular demand, as well as the Panera Prize Wheel which attendees who bring a non-perishable food item can “spin to win” while helping to stock the shelves of the Plainville Living Bread Food Pantry.  A number of other free, kid-friendly activities, including face painting, shortbread cookie decorating, prize drawings, balloons, are also planned throughout the evening.

Plainville’s Linda and Scott Hastings formed the Ryan’s Hope Foundation in 2003 after their young son, Ryan, was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).  DMD is a progressive muscular disease that strikes approximately one in every 3,500 young boys. The Foundation was formed specifically to speed the rate of scientific research that will lead to a cure for DMD. Information about the Ryan’s Hope Foundation, a non-profit, 501©(3) organization, can be found atwww.HopeForRyan.com.

"We continue to be optimistic about a cure for DMD which will prolong the life for our son and thousands of other boys who are battling this disease,” said Linda Hastings.  “We are so fortunate to have people and organizations who support our mission, especially Panera Bread’s Plainville bakery-cafe, Howley Bread Group and the Plainville Athletic League and our other neighbors in the Plainville community."
