St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield will be hosting their annual SEPTEMBERFEST this coming Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 11 to 4, rain or shine. Septemberfest will be held on the parish grounds located behind St. Mary's Church at 330 Pratt Street. All are welcome!
Events and activities include a cash raffle – top prize of $1,500 - with winners to be drawn at the end of the day. Rain Forest Reptiles will bring an assortment of animals. There will be pony rides; train rides; an obstacle course; a soccer shootout; face painting; and some classic carnival games for kids of all ages. Many fabulous items donated by area businesses and generous individuals will be featured on the silent auction and small raffle tables. Have fun watching one of several pie eating contests, and see who will win the pie baking contest. There will be Antique and Classic cars on hand for viewing. Enjoy a hot lunch, and peruse many items at the craft tables. Wander over to check out the selection of used books, and see some karate demonstrations as well performances by several local dance groups. Sit under the big tent end enjoy the DJ along with a slice of hot apple pie and ice cream. Baked goods will be available as well.
