The 5th Annual Jamie Fund 5K Race/Walk

The Jamie Fund 5K is a fun family event held each year to raise funds for the disability awareness program run in the Mansfield schools and surrounding towns to teach typical children about their special need peers.  The event is named after Jamie Piro, a junior at MHS, who has autism and had difficulty fitting in her classroom when she started school.  Her Mom, Kim, started the iCARE program to help teach her peers about her special needs.  ALL proceeds from this event go to funding that program and to giving two scholarships a year to MHS seniors moving on to study in the special education field.  Please come out and run or walk or bring your children to enjoy the Kids fun run.  We would love to see you there.  The Kids Fun Run is 9:30 and the 5K is at 10:00.
