Greatness Just Ahead

Some quick tips on how to achieve greatness in 2013

Well, we made it despite the Mayans saying we were in for utter doom and extinction. The end of the year has come and gone. So now that we are in 2013, what are you going to do with this GREAT opportunity? Sit back and ask yourself a few questions. How did I do in 2012? Do I want to continue to progress or do I just want to stay stagnant? What do I want to achieve moving forward? Do I have the support system to get me there?

To continue to thrive in life, you MUST dream big! We have dreams for a reason. Let's go for it. In order to achieve the dreams you want, you must lay it out so you can see it and create a path to get there. As you move towards your goal, always refer back to the plan you created so you can stick to it. There will be a lot of opportunities and distractions that will come your way. If they do not fit in with what you want in life, then keep moving past them. It's okay to say no or pass on something that you feel may progress you in some way, but does not get you to where you want to be.

The following are some quick tips to make this year better than last:

1. Have your own moment of reflection. Look back at the past year and see what you accomplished.

2. Look back at what you haven't accomplished and, if possible, try to analyze why. Just don't over do it.

3. Get yourself a new notebook and start to write down everything you would like to achieve. Refer to Sean's blog below. Once you have these down, take a page in the notebook and designate it for each target. Create the plan for each on that page.

4. Get an accountability partner; someone that has no problem with pushing you to get uncomfortable, not someone who is always going to tell you it's okay!

Cheers to a better year than last. Turn it up one more degree everyday!
