Adriel was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis in 2000, which caused partial loss of hand movement. He then turned to the steel guitar. In turn, he started Adriel Azure's Dream Indigo Orchestra, which created original material for film, games and orchestral performances.

In 2010, Mack the service dog entered his life and became a loyal companion. Black and white in color, Mack was always at Adriel's side in his "tuxedo."

Adriel enjoyed life and truly loved to spread joy through entertainment and share his appreciation of music. He was active in many, many things that were near and dear to his heart, including motivational speaking and advocacy for disabled children, adults and service animal awareness.
