Samantha Bourque

Samantha Bourque of Mansfield, died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Children's Hospital in Boston. She was 21 years old. Born in Attleboro on Feb. 22, 1991, she was the loving daughter of Christopher and Jean-Marie (Lawrence) Bourque.

Ms. Bourque was a graduate of Mansfield High School Class of 2009 as a member of the National Honor Society. She was attending Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I. where she was a member of the Business Fraternity Delta Sigma Pi and the Student Alumni Association.

She formerly worked at Michaels Arts & Crafts at Mansfield Crossing for two years. She was very active at St. Mary's Church in Mansfield where she was their first Youth Eucharistic Minister and member of the Bell Choir.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Bourque is survived by her brother, Adam Bourque, of Mansfield and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Lawrence Sr. of Mansfield and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bourque Sr. of Pawtucket, R.I.

A Funeral Mass was at St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt St. (Rte. 106) Mansfield, Thursday, May 31. Visiting hours were  held at the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 North Main St. in Mansfield. Interment was private.

David A. Longshaw

David A. Longshaw of Mansfield passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was 39 years old. He was the loving son of John Longshaw of Mansfield and the late Carolyn (Bielan) Longshaw. Mr. Longshaw was the loving father of J.J. and Charles Longshaw. He was the dear brother of Jennifer Longshaw and her fianc Norman Petri of Providence, R.I. and Caren Longshaw and her longtime companion Samuel Veradt. He was also the loving uncle of Caleb Veradt.

Mr. Longshaw will be sorely missed by many family & friends. Arrangements were made by the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 N. Main St. in Mansfield. Services will be private. www.boleafuneralservices.com
