Obituary: Rudolph Fasulo, A Mansfield Football Hall of Famer

The following is the obituary for Rudolph "Rudy" Fasulo, a lifelong resident of Mansfield. Mr. Fasulo is a member of the Mansfield Football Hall of Fame.

Rudolph "Rudy" Fasulo, a lifelong resident of Mansfield, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at the Golden Living Center, Garden Place in Attleboro. He was 80. Mr. Fasulo was the husband of the late Natalie (Brady) Fasulo.

Born in Mansfield on June 22, 1932, Mr. Fasulo was the son of the late Antonio and Antonetta (Cataloni) Fasulo. He was a graduate of Mansfield High School and was inducted into the Mansfield Football Hall of Fame.

He worked as a lineman for the Mansfield Electric Company and later worked as a school bus driver for Connolly Bus Company in the Mansfield School District.

Mr. Fasulo proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Mr. Fasulo is the father of Karen Jackson of Taunton, Jeff Fasulo of Attleboro, Shelly Tetreault of Attleboro, and the late Mark and John Fasulo. He is the grandfather of Christine Jackson of Taunton, Kathleen Babbitt of Canton, and Ryan Jackson and John Tetreault, both of Attleboro. Mr. Fasulo is also survived by his sister, Jean Watson of North Attleboro, and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be from the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 North Main St., Mansfield on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 8 a.m. Followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.

Visiting hours are Monday from 4-8 p.m.

Interment is in St. Mary's Cemetery, Mansfield.
