Obituary: Rose L. Giannelli

The following is the obituary for Rose L. Giannelli.

Rose L. Giannelli, age 76, of North Attleboro, formerly of Brockton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.

Born in Brockton, MA on January 3, 1936, she was one of fourteen children of the late Leo and Mary (Maragilia) Giannelli. She grew up in Brockton and had attended the Randolph School for the Deaf.

A retired seamstress, she had worked for various companies in the Brockton area prior to retiring. She had made her home in North Attleboro for the past 6 years and for over 25 years was a member of the Cranston Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.

Rose treasured the times spent with her loving family and especially with her cherished great grandchildren. She enjoyed watching golf, wrestling and Law & Order on television. She also liked trips to the ocean, a well cooked meal, and will always be remembered fondly for her sparkling jewelry.

The devoted mother of Joanne M. Charney of Woonsocket, RI, she is also survived by her adoring grandchildren, Nicholas S. Charney of North Attleboro, Brianna M. Charney of Woonsocket, RI and Rebecca Bewsher of North Attleboro, as well as her great grandchildren, Deanna Rose Charney and Noah Stephen Charney both of North Attleboro and Bailey Webb and Lucas Webb both of Woonsocket, RI.

Funeral Services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Wednesday, September 5th at 10:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
