Obituary: Timothy P. Allen

Timothy P. Allen, 45, of Mansfield, formerly of Stoughton and Sharon, died unexpectedly on Nov. 25 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.

Born in Boston on Nov. 14, 1968, he was a son of Nancy Allen-Greenblatt-Curry of Long Lane, Missouri and the late Kendal Allen. Mr. Allen grew up in Sharon, was educated in Sharon public schools and attend Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in Easton. A self employed carpenter, he had made his home in Mansfield for the past two years and had formerly resided in Stoughton and Sharon.

When younger, he and his family attended Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Sharon; where he was also married to his former wife Sharon.

He enjoyed the great outdoors which included fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed raising chickens and honey bees and will always be remembered for his fabulous cooking skills.

In addition to his mother and former wife, he leaves his daughter Samantha of Mansfield, his brothers Christopher of Missouri, Matthew of Mansfield, Patrick of Mansfield and Robert of Missouri, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, was held on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield. Visitation was held prior to the services on Tuesday morning beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Timothy's memory may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 60 Walnut St., Wellesley, MA 02481.
