Obituary for W. George Cruser, Jr.

W. George Cruser, Jr., 94, a lifelong resident of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2012 in his residence, at the Village of Willow Crossing in Mansfield.

He was the husband of the late Pauline F. (Fitzgibbons) Cruser to whom he was wed on October 12, 1940 and who died on February 26, 2005.

Born in Mansfield, MA on January 27, 1918, he was a son of the late W. George, Sr. and Ethel (Houghtaling) Cruser.

He proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. Mr. Cruser retired from the Foxboro Co., where he worked as a machinist and quality control manager. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his children, Kathleen Cruser Kaleta and her husband John of Mansfield and Thomas P. Cruser and his wife Linda of New Orleans, LA. The brother of Ethel Terminisi of Coventry, RI and the late Harold Cruser and Dorothy Cruser, he is also survived by his grandchildren, Maureen Kaleta Maynard and her husband Thomas of Salem, Colleen Kaleta D’Alessandro and her husband Lawrence of Salem, Gregory Cruser and his wife Alexis Benedict of Los Angeles, CA and Matthew Cruser and his wife Lauren of Destrahan, LA

Services and burial will be private. Visiting hours have been omitted.
