Alleged OUI Leads to Car Accident and More in Mansfield Police Log

The following information was provided by the Foxborough and Mansfield Police Departments. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

April 13

4:18 p.m. - Getting a report of a woman in a highly intoxicated state at Mansfield Crossing, police were able to locate and stop the person on Elm St. After the stop, police arrested Alexandra Grasso, 26, of Stoughton. Grasso was changed with operating under the influence of liquor and operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger.

April 14

10:35 p.m. - After receiving multiple calls reporting a motor vehicle accident on Copland Dr. and Chauncy St., police arrested and charged Jose Da Rosa, 56, of Central Fall, RI with negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating under the influence of alcohol, and a marked lanes violation.

April 15

8:04 p.m. - After receiving a 911 call concerning an erratic driver on Route 106 West heading towards Route 140, police arrested Michael Monte, 43, of Riverside, RI. Monte was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

 

April 16

5:56 a.m. - While on patrol, Patrolman Joshua Ellender arrested and charged Walter Stephens III, 31, of Brockton with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

 

April 17

2:14 p.m. - While police attempted to serve court papers, Brian Carpenter, 53, of Mansfield was arrested on a warrant.

 

7:45 p.m. - While police attempted to serve court papers, John Bowes, 23, of Mansfield was arrest on a warrant. Bail was set at $140.
