Update: Norton Woman Injured in a Car vs. Dump Truck Collision on Rte. 495S in Mansfield
Seriousness of injuries unknown at this time.
A 2001 Ford dump truck and a 1999 Saturn crashed around 4:27 p.m. today on Route 495 South in between the route 140 exit and the route 95 exit.
Initial reports from the Massachusetts State Police state that the crash induced the Saturn to rollover in the median.
The 41-year-old Norton woman driving the Saturn was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. Her condition is currently unknown. The driver of the dumptruck was unhurt in the collision.

At this time, traffic has started moving, but is still congested on both sides of Route 495.
