EMS Log: Mansfield FD Take Out Fire in Woods, Assists With Car Crashes

Last week the Mansfield FD knocked down a fire in the woods, assisted with care crashes in Easton and Foxborough, and responded to a car crash into a pole.

January 28

3:06 p.m. - Mansfield Fire assisted Foxborough Fire with a motor vehicle accident on the corner of Route 140 and Clark St. One person was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

January 29

12:36 a.m. - One person was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital after driving into a pole on Pratt Street.

January 30

7:01 p.m. - Mansfield Fire responded to a smoke detector on Angel St despite the lack of smoke or fire in the house. When Mansfield FD arrived on the scene, it was discovered that alarm that went off was the carbon monoxide detector.

Due to a reading of 19 parts, the house was vented. The source was a gas stove left on all day.

 

February 2 

2:54 a.m. - Mansfield Fire assisted Norton Fire with an evaluation of an intoxicated male. The male was taken to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

 

12:12 p.m. - Mansfield Fire assisted Foxborough Fire with an accident on the on-ramp to Route 95 North on Route 140. The accident involved four cars including one vehicle in the woods.

 

10:30 p.m. - Mansfield EMS responded to a call for an injured person after an assault on North Main Street. 

 

February 3

6:54 a.m. - Easton FD requested a rescue for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. One person was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

 

7:05 a.m. - Foxborough FD requested apparatus for a three car motor vehicle accident on Route 95 South.

 

5:15 p.m. - A fire behind a home on the corner of Lewis Road and Maple Street was reported. Mansfield Fire extinguished what was reported to be a trash fire approximately 250 feet in the wood.
