Four Injured in Overnight Crash on I-495

Four people were injured in a single vehicle, rollover crash on I-495 Monday night. The accident happened in the area of Exit 11 in Mansfield.

All four were transported to Rhode Island Hospital. Police have not released their names. 

State Police say the crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. Monday night. The southbound high speed lane was closed for approximately one hour for rescue efforts. The lane reopened around 8:30 p.m., when the when the high speed and middle lanes were closed northbound for recovery of the vehicle.  All lanes were opened and all units cleared at approximately 9:45pm.
