Larceny, Fraudulent Prescriptions, and More in the Mansfield Police Log

The following information was provided by the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

January 22:

10:16 a.m. – Mansfield Police were informed of an employee stealing from Dub’s Liquors since the start of the New Year. After members of the department view video evidence of a crime being committed, Brent Smith, 24, of 71 Messenger St. #823, Plainville, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250 by single scheme.

3:57 p.m. – Eric Murawski, 40, of 31 Nobska Road, of Mashpee was arrested and charged with uttering a false prescription after it was reported that he attempted to use a fraudulent name to obtain a prescription at the CVS on Chauncy St.

January 23:

2:15 p.m. – Patrolman William Trudell pulled over Annette Smith, 48, of 740 North Main Street, at the corner of County St. and North Main St. Smith was arrested on a warrant and was issued a citation for an open container.

 

January 24:

12:40 p.m. – After stopping Shawn Webb, 27, of 1 Clinton Street on North Main Street, officer Thomas Connor arrested and charged Webb with driving an uninsured motor vehicle.
