Man Accused of Preying on Mansfield Girl Held on $10K Bail
Peter Campobasso, 30, of Medford, was charged with manipulating a 12-year-old girl.
A local man charged with giving cash to a 12-year-old Mansfield girl in exchange for nude photos is being held on $10,000 cash bail.
Peter Campobasso, 30, of Medford, was arrested Friday.
Police said he encouraged the Mansfield girl to send him nude photos in exchange for cash and gifts.
The girl’s parents reported him to police, according to CBS Boston.
Police said there are likely more victims.
"Campobasso is believed to have befriended many young girls in the Mansfield/Attleboro area via Facebook and social media," Mansfield police said in a statement.
Campobasso is due back in court May 12, according to CBS.
