Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: Car Fire, Collisions and Smoke

The following is from the Mansfield Fire and EMS log from Nov. 5 to Dec. 2, 2012.

Nov. 28

7:54 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a smoke alarm Chauncy Street. The problem was found to be in the heating system and was corrected. No fire was found.

10:22 p.m. North Attleboro Police requested aid in a car fire on Route 95 South. The fire was knocked down and extinguished.

Nov. 29

7:22 a.m. North Attleboro Police reported a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision on Route 95 North.

Nov. 30

11:03 a.m. Caller reported a brush fire on Route 495 South in the area of exit 12. The fire was extinguished.

8:19 p.m. Caller reported a three-vehicle motor vehicle collision on Route 495 North.  Two victims were transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

Dec. 1

3:31 a.m. Mansfield EMS responded to a mutual aid call regarding a motor vehicle collision on Route 95 South. One victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
