Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: Car Fire, Mulch Fire and Crashes

The following is from the Mansfield Fire and EMS log from Sept. 17 to Sept. 24, 2012.

Sept. 17

11:53 a.m. Mansfield Fire responded to a call reporting a mulch fire on North Main Street near the Bank of America.  Reported to be part of an “ongoing problem,” the fire was extinguished.

2:07 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting smoke coming from a building on East Street. The smoke was found to be coming from a plant pot outside the house, presumably from a discarded cigarette.

7:24 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a mutual aid call from Foxborough reporting a three-vehicle motor vehicle collision on Route 95 North.

Sept. 23

12:18 a.m. Norton Fire reported a motor vehicle collision on exit 11 of Route 496 South. Mansfield EMS evaluated and treated on patient on scene.

9:28 a.m. Foxborough Fire reported a vehicle fire on Route 95 South before exit 7A. The fire was extinguished.

7:37 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to call reporting a motor vehicle collision at Mansfield Crossing.  Two patients were transported, one to Sturdy Memorial Hospital and one to Norwood Hospital.
