Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: Collisions, Blanket Fire and a Mulch Fire
The following is from the Mansfield Fire and EMS log.
June 27
6:34 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a brush fire up against a house. On arrival, firefighters found that the fire had started inside the house from a candle dropped on a blanket. The homeowner apparently threw the blanket outside and it started a brush fire. The fire was extinguished with no serious damage reported.
7:43 a.m. State Police reported a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision on a state highway. One patient was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

7:45 a.m. State Police reported a tractor-trailer with tires on fire on the highway.
June 28

10:10 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a three-car motor vehicle collision on Pratt Street. Two patients were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital.
1:57 p.m. Mansfield Fire responded to a call reporting a mulch fire on North Main Street. The fire was extinguished.
June 29
12:51 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a three-vehicle collision in Mansfield with injuries. One patient was transported by Mansfield EMS to Rhode Island Hospital. Foxborough EMS transported one party to Norwood Hospital.
6:41 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call from the Foxborough dispatcher. One vehicle was in the median. Mansfield transported one of three patients to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
