Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: Collisions, Large Gas Leak and Car Fire

The following is from the Mansfield Fire and EMS log from Nov. 11 to Nov. 17, 2012.

Nov.11

9:41 p.m. Mansfield EMS responded to a call reporting a stab wound to the neck on Oakland Street. One patient was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

5:04 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting an outside odor of gas at the intersection of Chauncy Street and Perkins Avenue. Detectors found there to be high levels of gas outside the residence. Mansfield Fire stayed on scene while Columbia Gas dug up the road to mitigate the leak.

2:50 p.m. Caller reported a vehicle fire in the parking lot of 11 Cabot Blvd. Vehicle was close to three other vehicles but not to any structures. The fire was knocked down.

4:35 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles at the Four Corners Citgo. Patients were treated for minor injuries on scene.

Nov. 14

12:39 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to several calls reporting a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of School Street and Route 140 North. Two patients were transported to Norwood Hospital.

Nov. 15

3:05 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle collision at the on ramp to exit 12 on Route 495 North. Three patients were transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
