The Mansfield Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to a total of 49 calls last week.
3:32 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting two-vehicle collision on Elm Street in Norton. One patient was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
6:20 p.m. Mansfield DPW reported that one of their vehicles had a stuck throttle and went into a bush intentionally to stop the vehicle. The operator was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital with a bump on the head.
11:45 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Route 140 South and South Main Street. Patients were evaluated with minor injuries and refused transport to a local hospital.
10:59 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a serious three-car motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Copeland Street and Chauncy Street. Patients were transported to Norwood, Sturdy Memorial and Good Samaritan Hospitals.
6:55 p.m. Caller reported a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision on exit 11 of Route 495 South. Two patients were transported to Norwood Hospital.
12:28 a.m. Caller reported a trash fire at the Comcast Center.
