The following is from the Mansfield Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services Log. The Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a total of 47 calls last week.

Feb. 27

9:12 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle fire before exit 11 and 12 on Route 495 South. The fire was contained to the vehicle’s engine compartment and no one was reported injured from the incident.

Feb. 29

8:49 p.m. Mansfield EMS responded to a mutual aid call in Norton on West Main Street. One patient was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

March 1

9:14 p.m. Caller reported an injured patron at the Catman Café after a fight. Police reported that the patron could not feel his legs. The patient was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

March 3

1:28 a.m. Mansfield EMS responded to a call reporting one female patient with injuries from a domestic dispute. Patient refused treatment after evaluation.
