Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: Jan. 16-23

The following is from the Mansfield Fire and EMS log.

The Mansfield Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to a total of 60 calls last week.

Jan. 16

3:00 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a two vehicle collision with an infant in the vehicle at the parking lot of the Wendy’s. Patients refused transport and were treated on scene for minor injuries.

10:37 a.m. Mansfield Fire responded to a mutual aid call in Foxborough on Belcher Circuit.

11:34 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of route 140 north and West Street. Mansfield EMS transported a pregnant woman to Norwood Hospital.

 

Jan.  20

8:08 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call at Covidien for a smoke alarm. The building was evacuated, and the cause was burnt popcorn in a microwave.

 

Jan. 21

11:06 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle collision on the median strip of Route 95. Occupant was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

11:15 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a vehicle rollover and tree collision at the intersection of Eastman Street and Northbridge Road. Patient was treated for minor injuries.

 

Jan. 23

12:22 a.m. Mansfield responded to a mutual aid call from North Attleboro to cover their station as they respond to a two-alarm fire.
