Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: Jan. 9-16

The following is from the Mansfield Fire and EMS log.

The Mansfield Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to a total of 52 calls last week.

Jan. 9

4:22 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a motor vehicle collision on North Main Street in front of Genos Café. EMS treated minor injuries on the scene and three patients refused hospital transport.

Jan. 10

12:42 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a vehicle collision with a utility pole. EMS personnel treat minor injuries on scene and the occupants refused hospital transport.

Jan. 11

6:57 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle collision on Chauncy Street. One occupant was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

Jan. 12

1:04 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a kitchen fire on Fiairfield Park. One resident reported that one other resident was at the time unable to get out of the building, but was later confirmed out of the building. The fire was then isolated to the oven in the kitchen, and was then extinguished. The building was then ventilated.

Jan. 13

7:10 p.m. Foxborough Fire requested assistance for smoke in a building on Morse Street.

Jan. 14

12:07 a.m. North Attleboro Fire requested assistance for a motor vehicle accident north of exit 5 on Route 95 South.

9:48 p.m. North Attleboro Fire requested assistance for a motor vehicle accident and car fire north of exit 7 on Route 95 North. The vehicle was fully engulfed on arrival. The fire was extinguished.

 

Jan. 15

10:49 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Copeland and Chauncy. Both occupants refused transport to a hospital.
