Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: July 11-18

A summary of Mansfield Fire and EMS activity.

The Mansfield Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to a total of 54 calls last week, most of them medical in nature.

July 11

6:29 p.m. Mansfield EMS responded to call reporting that a six-year-old child was suffering a serious allergic reaction. EMS arrived in six minutes since receiving the call and stabilized the child on scene, and then transported him to Morton Hostpital.

July 12

7:35 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call from police that there had been a motor vehicle accident on Rte 95 South. One occupant was ejected from the vehicle. North Attleboro EMS transported the occupant to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

 

July 13

4:22 Caller reported a brush fire at 510 East St. Mansfield Fire responded and arrived on the scene three minutes after the call. Firefighters wetted down a 50 square foot area to extinguish the fire.

 

July 14

10:54 a.m. Mansfield EMS responded to call reporting that a three-year-old child was suffering a serious allergic reaction. EMS arrived in eight minutes since receiving the call and stabilized the child on scene, and then transported him to Norwood Hospital.

 

July 15

7:49 p.m. Mansfield and Norton Fire responded to an assist call from the Foxborough Fire Department concerning a brush fire that had broken out on Elm St.
