Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: March 5 - 11

The following is from the Mansfield Fire and EMS log.

The Mansfield Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to 64 calls last week.

 

March  5

5:23 p.m. Caller reported a car fire between exit six and seven on Route 95. Eight minutes after the call, Mansfield Fire found the car to be fully engulfed. 45 minutes after the call the fire was extinguished.

11:07 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a female with a stab wound to the leg. Patient was transported to Norwood Hospital.

March 9

Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle collision between a vehicle and a deer. One patient was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

8:59 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle collision on South Main Street. The collision involved a tractor-trailer and a Jeep. Jeep occupant had to be extricated with jaws of life, other occupant was removed without incident. Former occupant was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

7:08 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a chimney fire on York Road. Fire was extinguished in 32 minutes after the call.
