Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: Oct. 10-16

The following is from the Mansfield Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services

The Mansfield Fire Department and Emergency Medical Service responded to 49 calls last week.

Oct. 10

10:29 p.m. Caller reported a fire in a building on South Main Street. The fire was extinguished before the Fire Department arrived on scene.

10:05 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting that a dump truck had flipped on its side on East Street. Patient was treated on scene. There was a minor fuel leak, but it was mitigated on scene. The truck was eventually flipped upright.

 

Oct.  13

7:54 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a two-vehicle collision with reported injuries at the intersection of Oak Street and Elm Street. Mansfield EMS transported two people to Sturdy Memorial Hospital, and Norton EMS took one patient to Sturdy as well.

 

Oct. 14

8:35 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a called reporting that there had been a vehicle collision on the Route 95 South ramp from Route 495 North. One patient was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

1:46 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Route 140 North and Chauncy Street. One occupant was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

 

Oct. 16

9:08 a.m. Mansfield Fire responded to an illegal burn at the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn.
