Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: Oct. 17-24

The following is from the Mansfield Fire Department's log.

The Mansfield Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to a total of 49 calls last week.

Oct. 18

1:40 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Mill Street and Plowshare Circuit. One occupant was transported to Norwood Hospital. There were also hazardous fluids released from the crash, and Mansfield Fire mitigated and neutralized the danger.

Oct. 19

7:07 a.m. Mansfield EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle collision on Route 95 South. One occupant was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

9:37 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle had rolled over and entrapped the occupants inside the vehicle on the Route 495 North onramp to Route 95 South. Three occupants were transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

 

Oct. 20

1:05 p.m. Mansfield Fire responded to call reporting a car fire on 280 School St. The vehicles engine had overheated and there were no injuries.

 

Oct. 23

2:35 p.m. Caller reported a smoke condition in the area of Erick Road. Mansfield Fire responded and found the cause to be an illegal burn.
