Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: Oct. 24-31

The Mansfield Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to a total of 71 calls last week.

Oct. 24

10:46 a.m. Caller reported that a man was on the ground after a tire he was filling exploded. Mansfield EMS took him to Good Samaritan.

Oct. 26

9:02 p.m. Caller reported that he hit a utility pole. Mansfield EMS transported him to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

11:00 p.m. State Police reported a one-car rollover at exit 12 of Route 495. The driver was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

Oct. 28

4:38 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a tractor-trailer rollover at exit 5 of Route 95.

7:54 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to an accident on West Street under the Route 495 overpass. One occupant was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

Oct. 29

1:56 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting that a multiple car collision occurred on Route 95 North between the rest area and the Route 495 exit. Mansfield EMS transported one occupant to Norwood Hospital.

8:14 p.m. Mansfield EMS and Fire responded to a call reporting a two-car collision at the intersection of Central Street and Chauncy Street. Occupants were treated for minor injuries on scene.

8:31 p.m.  Several callers reported seeing flames coming from the house on 148 Chauncy St. Mansfield Police and Fire got all units on scene and were able to rescue three people and two pit bulls from the fire. No serious injuries reported.
