Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: Oct. 31- Nov. 6

The following is from the Mansfield Fire and EMS log.

Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a total of 67 calls last week, most of which were medical in nature.

Oct. 31

3:28 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS received a call concerning a multiple vehicle collision on Route 140 Sout near Forbes Boulevard. One occupant was transported to Norwood Hospital.

Nov. 1

4:08 a.m. Mansfield EMS responded to a call from the Massachusetts State Police concerning a man struck by a motor vehicle.  The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

Nov. 2

1:43 p.m.  Caller reported  a pedestrian was struck on East Street. No transport necessary.

7:38 p.m. Caller reported leaving her fireplace on  and returned to find the carbon monoxide detectors sounding. Mansfield Firefighters found there to be carbon monoxide in the building. The source was found and the building was ventilated.

 

Nov. 4

11:59 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a utility pole on fire at Saddle Ridge.  Mansfield Fire reported thepole was burning from top to bottom. After the power to the line was cut Mansfield Fire put out the conflagration.

 

Nov. 5

2:01 a.m. Mansfield Fire assisted in a call from Foxborough Fire concerning a structure fire on North High Street.

 

Nov. 6

1:56 a.m. State Police relayed a report of a vehicle fire on Route 95 North. The fire was found to be the result of a vehicular collision. One occupant was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
