Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: Roland Green School Evacuated, Accident on Oxford Rd./Forbes Blvd., and More

The following is from the Mansfield Fire and EMS Log.

March 12

8:52 a.m. - Mansfield fire responded to a report concerning the smell of natural gas in the hallway by the basement at the Roland Green School. The building was soon evacuated. All reports showed low readings for gas and the building was deemed safe to reoccupied.

3:46 p.m. - A medical transport was refused for a man with glass in his eye on Chauncy St.

5:49 p.m. - Mansfield fire responded to a motor vehicle accident along with Foxboro fire at Route 495 South/Route 95 South.  A patient refused a medical transport.

 

March 14

8:54 a.m. - Two cars were involved in a motor vehicle accident on Oxford Rd./Forbes Blvd. Three transports to Sturdy Memorial Hospital were needed.

 

March 15

1:38 a.m. - A woman driving on the Route 95 South ramp to Route 495 South was involved in a one car accident that resulted in the car catching on fire. Mansfield fire was able to knock down the blaze. The woman was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
