Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: Rollover, Brush Fires and Accidents

The Mansfield Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to a total of 65 calls last week. 

April 9

3:23 p.m. Mansfield Fire responded to a call reporting  a large fire in the woods near North White Pine Lane. The fire was extinguished.

April 10

12:09 p.m. Mansfield Police issued a request for assistance in extinguishing a an illegal burn on Concetta Drive.

April 12

12:21 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Forbes Boulevard and Chauncy Street. One of the vehicles struck a tree after the initial collision. Two occupants were transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

4:26 p.m. Mansfield EMS responded to a mutual aid call from Norton reporting a motor vehicle rollover on route 495 South. A vehicle had hit a dump truck and rolled off the highway into the median. The occupant of the car was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

April 13

7:33 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Route 140 and Forbes Boulevard.

5:10 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Ware Street and Essex Street. Injuries were reported as minor and patients refused transport.
