Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: Sept. 26-Oct. 2

The following is from the Mansfield Fire and EMS log.

The responded to a total of 47 calls last week. Most of the calls were of a medical nature or from a faulty alarm system.

Sept. 26

6:58 p.m. Mansfield Fire responded to a fire alarm at a vacant building on West Street . One of the trash compactors burnt out and caused the alarm to go off.

2:09 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Park Avenue and East Street. One occupant was transported to Norwood Hospital.

7:53 p.m. Mansfield EMS responded to a mutual aid call from North Attleboro concerning a motor vehicle collision on Mary Anne Way. One victim was transported Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
