Mansfield Fire Log: April 4-10

A few road accidents, but no serious injuries

The following is a report from the Mansfield Fire Department's Log.

April 4

1:54 p.m. Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to a motor vehicle accident on the intersection of Rte. 140 and Norfolk St. No injuries reported.

April 5

5:42 p.m. Mansfield EMS responded to a call that a 19 year-old male had a laceration to his lip. Subject was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. Subject had been in an altercation with another male. Police later report that the matter has been settled after hearing both sides of the issue.

April 8

5:15 a.m. A 73 year-old man called to report that he has severe infections in his extremities. Transported to Norwood Hospital.

3:13 p.m. Fire and EMS responded to a rollover on the intersection of Rte. 495 Northbound and Rte. 95 Southbound highways. No injuries reported.

April 9

12:50 a.m. Foxborough and Mansfield Fire and EMS both responded to a motor vehicle accident south of exit 7 on Rte. 95.  Vehicle went off the highway and into the woods. Ambulance service was refused by driver.

4:33 p.m. Mansfield Fire aided in subduing a brush fire in neighboring Norton.

11:45 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS personnel responded to a call of a rollover on the Rte. 140 exit of Rte 95 Southbound. There was one car involved with two occupants. No serious injuries reported and occupants were not transported to any hospital.

April 10

5:08 p.m. Fire and EMS personnel responded to a caller reporting that a 22-month-old baby was having a seizure. The infant was transported to Norwood Hospital.
