Mansfield Resident Tied Up During Break In

Mansfield homeowner tied up by three suspects during a break in early Tuesday morning.

Mansfield Police reported on Tuesday that three males broke into a Mansfield residence on Oak Street and allegedly tied up the resident inside.

At about 5:01 a.m. on Tuesday, a residential panic distress alarm went off at the residence. Four Mansfield Police Officers responded and found the victim tied up in the upstairs of the residence.

The suspects were described as three black males, one with a blue hoody. There was no vehicle seen at the residence. One homeowner on the street reported that she heard a gunshot at around 4:57 a.m.

The a 51-year-old victim was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital for lacerations to the head.
