Mansfield Man Charged with Buying Beer for Son, Friends
Among those arrested were the School Committee Chair's son.
Mansfield resident Thomas McCarthy, 53, of 7 North Pine Ln. was summoned last week for charges of providing alcohol to minors, according to Mansfield Police.
His son, Gregory McCarthy was pulled over by police on Rte. 106 just after 9:20 and was arrested when police found a 30 pack of beer in the car with his underage son and two other underage persons.
The son of the Mansfield School Committee Chair, Michael A. Trowbridge, 19, of 4 Suzanne Ln. was among the two underage friends arrested for possession of alcohol.
