Mansfield Police Log: A&B, Drug Arrests and BB Guns

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log.

The Mansfield Police Department log from Jan. 8 through Jan. 12.

Jan. 8

8:41 a.m. Caller reported that the tires of her daughter’s had been slashed during the night while it was parked on Tanya Drive.

9:41 a.m. Caller on Franklin Street reported that someone had sprayed her residence with paintballs during the night.

11:41 Reporting party came into the station and stated that his debit card was stolen and was used.

12:13 Caller reported that a party had shoplifted from Shop and Stop after being dropped off by a police cruiser.

 

Jan. 9

3:05 p.m. Caller reported that a sign from the conservation land on Branch Street had been stolen.

3:20 p.m. Amtrack employee reported finding a safe on the access road  to the railroad on Otis Street.

5:15 p.m. Caller reported that his vehicle had been struck by what appeared (from the damage on the vehicle) to be a BB gun while driving on Pratt Street.

7:55 p.m. Peter Bell, 24, of 9 Mulberry St. in Attleboro was arrested for four counts of carrying a dangerous weapon.

 

Jan. 10

1:30 a.m. Caller reported an unwitnessed hit and run in the lower lot of Tahana restaurant.

9:07 a.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that his vehicle had been struck by a BB pellet during the night while traveling on Route 106.

 

Jan. 11

6:47 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that he was jumped behind the Town News store by a group of youths with a baseball bat and knife. The first suspect was reported as a white teen-aged male carrying the knife, while the second suspect was reported to be a black teen male carrying the bat. They fled towards Court Street with $20 and a Target gift card.

 

Jan. 12

10:21 p.m. Brianna Dimascio, 22, of 75  Marshall Ave. and Kelsey Cathcart, 20, of 41 Nicholas Ave. in Norwood were both arrested on drug charges on 75 Marshall Ave. Dimascio was charged with possession of a class A substance and conspiracy to violate drug laws, and Cathcart was charged with being present where heroin was being kept, conspiracy to violate drug laws and having a warrant out for her arrest.
