Mansfield Police Log: Aug. 2- 7

The following is taken from the Mansfield Police Log.

August 2

8:10 a.m. Reporting party stated that her vehicle was broken into on Sunday night while parked on Mayflower Dr.

August 3

9:28 a.m. Reporting party came into the police station and stated that someone had stolen her wedding rings while she was at Fitness Together. She stated that she put them down and when she returned they were gone.

12:32 p.m. Caller reported that his car had been spray painted during the night.  Party also reported hearing people “cussing” outside around 10:30 p.m. the previous night. He said he checked out his car around 10:45 p.m. and saw what he thought was a shadow, but turned out to be spray paint when he saw it in the light. His car was parked on High St.

1:40 p.m. Caller reported that his vehicle was spray painted during the night while parked on Union St.

1:52 p.m. Caller reported that her vehicle had been spray painted during the night while parked on Union St.

3:06 p.m. John Lippolis, 51, of 236 Lincoln St. in Blackstone was arrested for attaching a false license plate to his vehicle to conceal identification, failing to stop at a stop sign, driving with a suspended license,  driving with a revoked registration and driving an uninsured motor vehicle.

6:12 p.m. Reporting party stated that he had just been the victim of fraud.

6:16 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that her vehicle had been spray painted during the night while parked on South Main St.

 

August 4

9:38 p.m. John Constantino, 23, of 27 Douglas Dr. was arrested for having an outstanding warrant out.

 

August 5

10:03 a.m. Caller reported that the Club House on 25 Cobb St. was broken into during the night. Nothing was reported taken at the time.

 

August 6

3:24 p.m. Caller reported that he had just gotten home from eating at Wendy’s and found that his wallet was gone. He said he remembered someone (not identified as either another patron or an employee) helped him with the soda machine.

3:33 p.m. Caller reported accidentally leaving her purse at Wendy’s. She said she called Wendy’s and no one turned in the purse.

4:34 p.m. Michael Kerr, 30, of 1 Brook Parkway in Norton was arrested for having an outstanding warrant out.

10:13 p.m. Caller reported that his wife was victim of a misdemeanor assault and battery while at a bachorlette party earlier in the evening. Victim talked with police later, and said it was only good natured pushing and shoving between friends, and that she did not want to continue the matter.

 

August 7

3:51 p.m. Caller reported that her house was broken into while she was on vacation.  The only reported missing item was a Wii gaming system.

4:09 p.m. Thomas Richardson,  61, of 40 Draper Ave. was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and driving to endanger. Police arrested him after receiving a call reporting a traffic collision at the intersection of Chauncy St. and Highland Ave.
