Mansfield Police Log: Car Break Ins, Comcast Center and Hit and Run

July 31

8:01 a.m. Caller reported that her vehicles parked on Harvestwood Lane were broken into during the night.

8:26 a.m. Caller reported that her vehicles parked on Jason Lane were broken into during the night. An LCD projector, GPS and iPod were taken.

11:49 a.m. Caller reported that her vehicle parked on Ephriam Drive was broken into during the night.

12:24 p.m. Caller reported that her vehicle parked on Ephriam Drive was broken into during the night.

1:14 p.m. Caller reported that her vehicle parked on Squire Avenue was broken into during the night.

1:35 p.m. Caller reported that her vehicle parked on Squire Avenue was broken into during the night.

2:44 p.m. Caller reported a larceny from the parts department at Lance Buick.

5:29 p.m. Caller reported that her vehicle parked on Winslow Way was broken into during the night.

7:29 p.m. Caller reported that her vehicle parked on Angell street was broken into just prior to the call. Reporting party stated that they knew who it was and wanted to work it out with police assistance but not with arresting the suspect.

Aug. 1

12:58 p.m. Dimas Farias, 55, of 1012 Allen St. in North Dartmouth was arrested for possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation. Farias allegedly got into a motor vehicle collision in the parking lot of Chipotles.

The following is a summary of police activity during the Influence Tour at the Comcast Center. 27 people were arrested for underage possession/consumption of alcohol and 57 people were put into protective custody for public intoxication. Three people were arrested for disorderly conduct and two were arrested for trespassing.

Devin Maguire, 17, of 11 Dinah St. in Plymouth was arrested for possession with intent to distribute of a class D substance.

Ian O’Leary, 17, of 17 Fieldstone Ln. in Weymouth was arrested for possession of a forged/stolen RMV document (driver’s license).

Partrick Kelly, 17, of 181 Messina Dr. in Braintree was arrested for possession of a forged/stolen RMV document (driver’s license).

One Juvenile, aged 16, was arrested for public open and gross lewdness.

Ethan Dupree, 17, of 12 Vista Ridge in Londonderry, New Hampshire, was arrested for assault and battery and “disguise to obstruct justice.”

Aug. 2

3:37 a.m. Christopher Burns, 29, of 285 Mansfield Rd. in North Attleboro was arrested for leaving the scene of property damage(hit and run).

7:03 p.m. Gary Bobst, 25, of 558 Maple St. was arrested for wanton destruction of property and domestic assault and battery.
