Mansfield Police Log: Chicago, Linkin Park and Def Leppard

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log.

Linkin Park and later Def Leppard came to the Comcast Center last week, and here’s the summary of police activity during the show.

Nine people were arrested for underage drinking and nine others were arrested for public intoxication. Two others were arrested for trespassing.

A weapon was reportedly seized from Lot 9. One caller reported youths kicking cars on their way out of the venue.

Another caller reported the tires of his vehicle were slashed during the show. Attendance for the show was tallied at 12,608 people.

The Def Leppard concert also saw minimal activity. Four people were taken into protective custody and no persons were arrested for underage consumption of alcohol. There was one motor vehicle collision in the parking lot

Thomas Branco, 20, of 73 Highview Dr. in Sandwich was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

There were no arrests made at the Chicago/Doobie Brothers Concert.
