Mansfield Police Log: Comcast Center, Assault and Battery and Soda Cans

Aug. 8

2:48 a.m. Caller reported damage to a mailbox on West Street.

9:28 a.m. John Geertgens, 48, of 69 Spring St. was arrested on a warrant.

1:47 p.m. Bruce Kline,  57, of 13 Bonney Ln. was arrested for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and witness intimidation.

9:30 p.m. Caller reported identity theft.

9:59 p.m. Caller reported youths throwing soda cans at passing vehicles by the South Common.

Aug. 9

10:23 a.m. Caller reported that his vehicle was broken into during the night while parked on Danielle Lane.

The following is a summary of police activity during the System of a Down/Deftones Show. Three people were arrested for underage consumption or possession of alcohol and nine people were taken into protective custody for public intoxication.
