Mansfield Police Log: Comcast Center, Break Ins and Vandalism

Aug. 13

4:19 p.m. Caller reported vandalism to his sign for his insurance company on North Main Street.

6:51 p.m. Caller reported coming home from work and finding her residence broken into on Balcom Street. An Xbox and a small amount of jewelry were taken. Entry was reportedly gained through the rear enterence.

Aug. 14

1:23 a.m. Caller reported that his son’s girlfriend’s vehicle was vandalized with cow manure.

1:49 p.m. Caller reported the larceny of his daughter’s mountain bike sometime after Aug. 5.

3:42 p.m. The following is a summary of police activity while at the Linkin Park concert at the Comcast Center. Nine people were arrested for underage drinking and nine others were arrested for public intoxication. Two others were arrested for trespassing.

5:28 p.m. Caller reported his truck was broken into and the windows were smashed while he was parked at Regent’s Café.

Aug. 15

7:58 a.m. Residents of Jewell Street reported a tree had fallen on the power lines. Power was cut tot he area, including the Mansfield Crossing, for a time.

12:00 p.m. Caller reported a past break in to his vehicle on Leonard Circle.
